The New York Times calls it “The Best New Musical of the Year,” and it is a Tony nominee for Best Musical.

Wed, Nov 15: Visit Lower Manhattan, home to Wall Street, Battery Park, the 911 memorial and more. Have lunch and free time, then take a glimpse into the past at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum where the apartments awaken with recreated immigrant life in the 19th and 20th centuries. The museum preserves and interprets the history of immigration through the personal experiences of newcomers who settled in and built lives on Manhattan's Lower East Side, America's iconic immigrant neighborhood. . Uncover the stories within these walls as you have a chat with the owners of Schneider’s Saloon; 97 Orchard Street’s longest running business. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust and gratitude grew into enduring friendships. Directed by Tony®-nominee Christopher Ashley, The Washington Post hails it as, “an exuberant antidote for what ails the American soul.” (Meal: Dinner)
