Thu, July 12: Fairbanks & Denali National Park. Today’s full day of sightseeing includes a cruise aboard the sternwheeler Riverboat Discovery III. Visit a recreated Athabascan Indian village, pet a sled dog (or two) and observe a bush pilot demonstration. Depart by motorcoach for Denali National Park and overnight at McKinley Chalets on the Nenana River for two nights. Use your Ambassadair “your choice” excursion or enjoy an evening on your own. Fri, July 13: Denali National Park. Embark on the Tundra Wilderness Tour. Travel 53 miles deep into Denali National Park, home to North America’s highest peak, Denali (formerly Mount McKinley). The park is home to wildlife such as grizzlies, Dall sheep, moose and caribou. The remainder of the day you are free to enjoy optional activities such as flightseeing, river rafting or horseback riding. (L)
Sat, July 14: Anchorage. All aboard Holland America’s award-winning McKinley Explorer train as you traverse the Great Land. Enjoy an included lunch on the train. Check in to a downtown Anchorage hotel. (L)
Sun, July 15: Board the ms Westerdam. Join fellow travelers at a private Welcome Breakfast. Travel the scenic Seward Highway along the Turnagain Arm to board Holland America’s ms Westerdam. (B,D)

Tue, July 17: Glacier National Park. Sail in Glacier Bay National Park. Cruise the waters surrounded by jagged snow-covered mountain peaks. The ship stops in front of the magnificent glaciers, and there is plenty of time to watch and listen to the glaciers calving. (B,L,D)
Wed, July 18: Haines & Skagway. Experience the activities in and around Haines, including rafting, hiking, fishing or sightseeing, or opt to explore the nearby port of Skagway, a picturesque Gold Rush town. A not-to-be-missed highlight in Skagway is the White Pass & Yukon narrow-gauge railway. A water transfer is required in order to travel from Haines to Skagway. (B,L,D)
Thu, July 19: Juneau. Cruise to Juneau, the state capital of Alaska, accessible by air or water only. With its bounty of water, forests, mountains and glaciers, Juneau offers a variety of optional activities. Highlights include the Taku Glacier Lodge, Feast & Five Glacier Seaplane excursion, a visit to the Mendenhall Glacier and the Juneau Icefields, whale watching, rafting, fishing, dog sledding and hiking.
