Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park

August 9-12, 2018

Thu / Sun - 4 Days

Experience the special blend of salty air and classic Down East character on this carefree trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. John D. Rockefeller brought the park to life by donating land, adding carriage roads and limiting auto access to ensure peace and quiet and an unspoiled cradle of wildlife. Acadia National Park is located on a cluster of islands on the Maine coast primarily covering Mt. Desert Island, which is also where you will find Bar Harbor. The quaint village of galleries and grand homes offers hours of strolling, shopping and casual dining on fresh seafood amongst a rock-bound coast and granite cliffs. Enjoy fresh Maine lobster, blueberry pie, and the charm of seacoast life during summer on the coast.
