Set your sights on some of the famous places where this country’s most important documents and ideas were created. A walking tour through the Independence National Historic Park area allows you to become a part of history and see where it all happened. Regarded as "America's most historic square mile,” see the Liberty Bell and where the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were debated and signed, and learn more about Benjamin Franklin.

Philadelphia was one of the crucial hubs of the American Revolution, which makes it the perfect place for the new, all-encompassing Museum of the American Revolution. Take a journey through the remarkable story of America’s revolutionary beginnings, from the early stirrings of unrest in Boston and the opening shots of the War of Independence, to the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the creation of the American Republic. With an included hop-on/hop-off double decker bus tour, discover more of the city’s fascinating museums and historic sites tailored to your individual interests. Wander the renowned Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Barnes Foundation, or view one of the world’s great collections of works by Auguste Rodin at the only dedicated Rodin Museum outside of France. Explore the National Constitution Center, an interactive museum that tells the story of the Constitution from Revolutionary times to the present. Enjoy a variety of cuisines, from authentic Philly cheesesteaks to traditional Pennsylvania Dutch fare at Reading Terminal Market, the nation’s oldest continuously operating farmers’ market. With The Franklin Institute, Eastern State Penitentiary, Battleship New Jersey, Independence Seaport Museum, Penn Museum – the options for discovery are endless!
