Sun, April 6: Fly to Dallas, Texas and arrive with plenty of time to enjoy the day. A visit to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens will showcase the beautiful flora of the area. Enjoy a docent led tour of the grounds followed by lunch at the on-site café. After lunch, spend time exploring Dealy Plaza and the Sixth Floor Museum. Located in the former Texas School Book Depository building, this unique museum chronicles the legacy and assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Check in to the Springhill Suites Fort Worth Historic Stockyards for two nights. (Meal: Lunch)

Mon, April 7: This morning, learn about the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District, once home to cowboys, cattlemen, and outlaws. See the Old West come to life before your eyes as the daily cattle drive passes before you. Enjoy a Texas-style barbeque lunch followed by a guided tour that reveals the rich history of the area and the stockyards, as well as the background of the “World’s Largest Honky Tonk” —Billy Bob’s Texas. The balance of the day is yours at leisure to spend time discovering the 10 blocks of history, museums, restaurants, and attractions—there is plenty to see and do! An optional** visit to the George W. Bush Presidential Library will be arranged this afternoon.  (B,L)

Tue, April 8: Depart Fort Worth for the Ennis Bluebonnet Trail. Reaching their peak display in mid-to-late April, the stunning natural beauty of the bluebonnets will take your breath away. See why visitors come from near and far to marvel at the blooms. Continue to Waco for a guided tour and see the Suspension Bridge, historic homes and neighborhoods, Baylor University, and pass by a few of the Fixer Upper homes. A highlight will be a stop at Cottonland Castle, which the Gaineses recently renovated. Check in to the Hotel Indigo Waco for two nights and enjoy dinner upon arrival. (B,D)

Wed, April 9: Today is yours to explore! Magnolia Market is just blocks from the hotel. Take your time shopping in the Market, playing games on the lawn, checking out the garden, and dining at the food trucks located at the Silos. The free Silo District Downtown Trolley makes it easy to get around to local museums and the unique shops, many of which that have been featured on the show. Be sure to stop by the Waco Visitor Information Center and take a selfie with a life-size cutout of Chip and Joanna! (B)

Thu, April 10: Following breakfast, depart for Historic Downtown Grapevine, a walkable, preserved historic area with a year-round farmers market, “one-of-a-kind” shops, and art galleries to wander through. Lunch is included at Harvest Hall, a European-style food hall, followed by a private wine tasting at a local winery, before heading to the Dallas/Fort Worth airport for the flight home. (B,L)
