Trip Overview

Black Forest & the Swiss Alps

With Ambassadair President, Michael Grueninger

Trip Dates: September 9-20, 2019 | Mon / Fri – 12 Days

Explore this land of fairy tales, cuckoo clocks, magic forests, and fascinating cultural traditions with Michael Grueninger, Ambassadair President.

Stay near Lake Titisee, located in the heart of the scenic Black Forest where you’ll visit a 200-year-old brewery, the Triberg Waterfall, the lovely town of Freiburg, and the Island of Mainau in Lake Constance. Experience German culture through a cuckoo clock making demonstration and taste traditional cuisines such as local beer and sausages, and that famous dessert — the decadent Black Forest cake! In the heart of the breathtaking Swiss Alps, enjoy clean mountain air and opportunities to take a yodeling lesson, snap scenic photos, or shop in the quaint stores and sample chocolates. Take an optional cog train ride to the top of Europe and stay at the foot of the Matterhorn. Fondue, fun, and fantastic adventures are just waiting to be had!
