Thu, Sep 22: Depart from Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. Fly to Honolulu, Oahu. Transfer to your hotel and spend two nights on Waikiki Beach.
Fri, Sep 23: Take an included tour of Pearl Harbor and the exhibits at the USS Arizona Memorial. Afterward, head downtown for a narrated tour of Honolulu’s highlights, such as the Punchbowl National Cemetery and Iolani Palace. Return to your hotel to enjoy the evening at leisure. (Meals: Breakfast)

Sun, Sep 25: Kahului, Maui. Considered the most magical and romantic of the islands, Maui is full of lush mountains and rainforests that complement the tropical beaches. Many people choose to see the island’s diverse beauty on a helicopter ride, spying hidden waterfalls in the jungle. Staying overnight on the ship means you can rise before dawn for the ritual sunrise journey to the top of Mount Haleakala. Or sleep in and spend the next day on the beach! (B,L,D)
Mon, Sep 26: Maui. Spend another day exploring the magical charms of Maui. (B,L,D)
Tue, Sep 27: Hilo, Hawaii (the “Big Island”). On the island of Hawaii, many visitors head for Volcanoes National Park, a surreal landscape of lava tubes, fire pits, and an active volcano! You can even take a 45-minute helicopter ride over the smoking Mount Kilauea. (B,L,D)
Wed, Sep 28: Kona, Hawaii. The Kona District on the Big Island is the gateway to the sunny western coast, where you may take a drive through rolling green pastures, visit sacred sites, or snorkel in a protected marine preserve. Kona is also home to several coffee plantations, Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park, and Kealakekua Bay, where Captain James Cook first set foot on the island in 1778. (B,L,D)
Thu, Sep 29: Nawiliwili, Kauai. The tropical paradise of the island of Kauai is ruggedly beautiful and remote (enough that it made an ideal setting for Jurassic Park). Swim underneath a waterfall, visit Fern Grotto, and take in the splendor of Waimea Canyon, a sight you have to see to believe. The same can be said for the Na Pali coast — board a smaller boat to sail the coastline edged with 4,000-foot-tall cliffs. (B,L,D)
Fri, Sep 30: Kauai. Enjoy a second day to discover more of this lush tropical island. This afternoon, cruise the Napali Coast. (B,L,D)
Sat, Oct 1: Oahu. Disembark in Honolulu; transfer to the airport for your overnight flights home. (B)
