Enjoy a four-night land tour from Fairbanks to Anchorage, traveling via deluxe motorcoach to Denali National Park for two nights. Continue to Anchorage via deluxe dome rail car. Board the ms Noordam in Seward to embark on a glorious seven-night Glacier Discovery cruise that includes Glacier Bay National Park, Haines (Skagway), Juneau, Ketchikan, and cruising the Inside Passage.

Wed, June 26: Fly to Fairbanks, Alaska and overnight downtown.

Thu, June 27: Fairbanks & Denali National Park. Today’s full day of sightseeing includes a cruise aboard the sternwheeler Riverboat Discovery III . Visit a recreated Athabascan Indian village, pet a sled dog (or two), and observe a bush pilot demonstration. Depart by motorcoach for Denali National Park and check in to the brand new Junior Suites at the McKinley Chalets on the Nenana River for two nights. Use your Ambassadair “Your Choice” excursion or enjoy an evening on your own. (Meal: Lunch)

Fri, June 28: Denali National Park. Embark on the Tundra Wilderness Tour. Travel 53 miles deep into Denali National Park, home to North America’s highest peak, Denali(formerly Mount McKinley). The park is home to wildlife such as grizzlies, Dall sheep, moose, and caribou. The remainder of the day you are free to enjoy optional activities such as flightseeing, river rafting, or horseback riding. (Snack Box)

Sat, June 29: Anchorage. All aboard Holland America Line’s award-winning McKinley Explorer dome train as you traverse the Great Land with spectacular panoramic views from your seat. Lunch is included in the elegant dining car. Check in to the Hotel Captain Cook in downtown Anchorage. (L)

Sun, June 30: Board Holland America Line’s ms Noordam. Join fellow travelers at a private breakfast. Travel the scenic Seward Highway along the Turnagain Arm to board Holland America Line’s ms Noordam. (B,D)

Mon, July 1: At sea. Relax and enjoy the activities on the ship. (B,L,D)

Tue, July 2: Glacier Bay National Park. Cruise into Glacier Bay National Parksurrounded by jagged snow-covered mountain peaks. The ship stops in front of the magnificent glaciers, and there is plenty of time to listen to the naturalist’s narration and watch the glaciers calving. (B,L,D)

Wed, July 3: Haines & Skagway. Experience the activities in and around Haines, including rafting, hiking, fishing, or sightseeing tours, or opt to explore the nearby port of Skagway, a picturesque Gold Rush town. A not-to-be-missed highlight in Skagway is the White Pass & Yukon narrow-gauge railway. A water transfer is required in order to travel from Haines to Skagway. (B,L,D)

Thu, July 4: Juneau. Cruise to Juneau, the state capital of Alaska, accessible by air or water only. With its bounty of water, forests, mountains, and glaciers, Juneau offers a variety of optional activities. Highlights include the Taku Glacier Lodge, Feast & Five Glacier Seaplane excursion, a visit to the Mendenhall Glacier and the Juneau Icefields, whale watching, rafting, fishing, dog sledding, and hiking. Fri, July 5: Ketchikan. Arrive in Ketchikan, located in the heart of the Tongass National Forest. Optional activities include a flightseeing trip to the Misty Fjords National Monument, a Bering Sea Crab Fisherman’s adventure, a sightseeing trip to explore Totem Bight State Park, or Saxman Native Village to see the world’s largest collection of totem poles. Sat, July 6: At sea. Enjoy a day at sea, cruising the Inside Passage. (B,L,D)

Sun, July 7: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Arrive in Vancouver, disembark after breakfast and transfer to the Vancouver airport for return flights to Indianapolis. (B)

Sun, July 7: After disembarking the ship, check in to your deluxe downtown hotel and explore beautiful Vancouver on your own.

Tue, July 9: Transfer to Vancouver’s airport for your return flight to Indianapolis.
