Discover incredible Yellowstone National Park with two days of guided tours and time to explore on your own. Take a leisurely float trip down the Snake River through pristine Grand Teton National Park, learning about the wildlife and history. Explore the charming town of Jackson, Wyoming and travel by covered wagon to a cowboy-style, Dutch-oven dinner.

Spend three nights at park lodges, including two at the historic Old Faithful Inn, located adjacent to Old Faithful Geyser and the most popular lodging facility. Your last two nights are spent at The Lexington at Jackson Hole.

This itinerary covers areas of higher altitudes and includes activities where moderate walking, possibly on uneven terrain is required.

Park accommodations are rustic yet comfortable with modest amenitiesand reflecting the natural surroundings of Yellowstone televisions, radios, air conditioning and swimming pools are not available. Internet service is available for purchase at some locations. Limited cellular telephone service is available at Old Faithful, Yellowstone Lake, Canyon, Grant and Mammoth Hot Springs villages.


Thu, June 6: Fly to Bozeman, Montana. Drive through Wyoming to the east side of Yellowstone National Park and check in to the Canyon Lodge for one night. Explore the area at leisure before dinner at the lodge. (Meal: Dinner)

Fri, June 7: Check out of the hotel and embark ona guided tour of the park. See the Mammoth Hot Spring Terraces, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone with the Upper and Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River, Yellowstone Lake, and West Thumb areas. Conclude at Old Faithful Innin Yellowstone National Park and check in for two nights. Dinner is included at the hotel. (B,D)

Sat, June 8: Continue touring the park with a local guide. Visit major attractions including Fountain Paint Pots, Norris Geyser Basin, and the Upper Geyser Basin that includes Old Faithful. Enjoy some free time to explore at your leisure. Choose to take a tour of the historic Old Faithful Inn, hike the surrounding area or absorb the views of the famous geyser. (B,D)

Sun, June 9: Drive through Grand Teton National Park, stopping for a casual lunch before taking an interpretive float trip on the Snake River. Discover the majesty of the park as you unhurriedly move along the river, learning about the wildlife, history, and geology of the area from your guide. The most prominent and impressive peaks in the Teton Range are ever present as you enjoy the beautiful scenery and view wildlife within the heart of the park. Continue to Jackson, Wyoming and check in to The Lexington at Jackson Hole for two nights. Evening and dinner at leisure. (B,L)

Mon, June 10: Your hotel is conveniently located in the center of town making it easy to spend the morning exploring on your own. Transfer to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort to take the tram up Rendezvous Mountain. At the top, see the incredible 360-degree views of Jackson Hole, the Snake River Valley, Grand Teton National Park and the staggering summit of the park. This evening, travel by horse-drawn covered wagon through the beautiful Cache Creek Canyon in Bridger-Teton National Forest. Upon arriving at the camp enjoy a cowboy style, Dutch oven dinner, complete with great western music and entertainment. (B,D)

Tue, June 11: Transfer to the airport in Jackson, Wyoming and fly home. (B)
