“A very interesting trip, nice having meals included because that takes time away from the tour when you have to find places to eat. Nice having a knowledgeable tour guide and you just sit back and don’t have to worry about any details. It’s already taken care of for you.”

Wed, Oct 9: Depart Indianapolis for Branson, Missouri. Stop for dinner at Lambert’s, the home of the “throwed rolls” on the way into town. Check in to the newly renovated Hotel Grand Victorian, then step out on the town for an evening show — Six; a contemporary, critically acclaimed a cappella vocal band featuring six brothers who take musical entertainment to a whole new level! Dubbed as “an orchestra of human voices” and “masters of showmanship,” these multi-talented brothers sound like a band using only their mouths and have been singing a cappella and harmonizing since they were children. (Meal: Dinner)

Thu, Oct 10: Following breakfast at the hotel, depart for Dogwood Canyon. Enjoy lunch and a tour aboard the open-air tram and wind through the canyon floor past towering bluffs and waterfalls. Stop to feed rainbow trout in a spectacular blue-green pool and continue into Arkansas to see herds of bison, elk and longhorn cattle. On the way back into town, stop at Table Rock Lake for a cruise on the Showboat Branson Belle; a paddle-wheeler with a top-rated variety show that will knock your socks off! A delicious dinner will be served on board while you enjoy the entertainment. Afterward, return to the strip to see The Duttons — a talented family who perform bluegrass to classical music and everything in between. Their personally created performance features a variety of instruments, including violin, guitar, bass, viola, banjo, mandolin, keyboard, harmonica, and drums, just to name a few. They have garnered awards in national fiddling contests, classical violin competitions, and as studio musicians. (B,L,D)

Fri, Oct 11: Start the day off with Yakov Smirnoff, the famous Russian comedian committed to his promise to “Make America Laugh Again!” He delivers his wildly funny material combined with a patriotic display of his love for fellow Americans. Have the afternoon free for shopping and lunch at Branson Landing, an optional afternoon show, or some relaxation at the hotel. Visit the beautiful campus of the College of the Ozarks and dine at the Keeter Center, where the Executive Chef and culinary students will tantalize your taste buds with a wonderful three-course dinner. Afterward, experience the Bible story of Samson in jaw-dropping scale at the Sight & Sound Theatre. Prepare to be astounded by the amazingly talented cast, special effects, live animals, and elaborate sets — on stage and in the aisles. It’s an unforgettable, uplifting thrill ride that will bring down the house — literally! (B,D)

Sat, Oct 12: Following breakfast, depart Branson for Indianapolis, stopping at the St. James Winery for a wine and cheese rest stop and St. Charles, Missouri for lunch on your own. (B)
