Holland America Line
June 12-20, 2020 | Fri / Sat – 9 Days
Seattle, Juneau, Glacier Bay National Park, Sitka, Ketchikan, Victoria
The ideal trip for cruising fun in Alaska … begins in Seattle! Spend a night in downtown Seattle, close to many of the city’s popular attractions. Pike Place Market, the oldest continually operating farmers market in the country, features fresh fish, fruits, vegetables, gorgeous flowers, and arts and crafts as far as the eye can see, and is always bustling with activity! While in the hometown of Boeing, visit The Museum of Flight, one of the largest air and space museums in the world.
You’ll be fascinated as you sail out of lovely Puget Sound on Holland America Line’s ms Eurodam on your way to the icy-blue glaciers and charming frontier ports of our northern-most state. Cruise through Glacier Bay National Park, where a unique ecosystem of plants and animals live in concert with an ever-changing glacial landscape and tidewater glaciers calve more actively than anyplace else in the world. Listen closely. It’s not really thunder you’re hearing; it’s actually the sound ice makes when it breaks away from a glacier and falls into the sea. The impact shoots water hundreds of feet into the air!
