Stop at Cold Hollow Cider Mill, known for their traditional apple cider production, as well as their legendary cider donuts. See a demonstration of cider making and taste fresh-pressed cider. Check in to the Trapp Family Lodge just in time for afternoon tea and this evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner with the group. (Meal: Dinner)

Mon, July 27: After breakfast at the Lodge, enjoy a tour of the Lodge and learn about the history of the von Trapp family. In the early 1940s, the von Trapp family toured the United States as the Trapp Family Singers before settling in Stowe, on a beautiful property with widespread mountain vistas reminiscent of their beloved Austria. The Lodge is still owned and operated by the von Trapp family today. Travel to Middlebury and enjoy lunch at the Waybury Inn, also known as the Stratford Inn from the 1970’s TV show Newhart. Located near the base of the Green Mountains, this picturesque backdrop makes for a memorable visit. Nearby, the University of Vermont’s Morgan Horse Farm will provide an insight on the history of America’s first horse, the Morgan. Visit with the foals, see the historic Remount Barn and take an informative tour. Return to the resort for an evening at leisure. (B,L)

Tue, July 28: Spend the day enjoying the many amenities available at the Lodge. From guided nature walks, to live music and cooking demonstrations, each day is filled with options! This evening, regroup for a tour of the brewery located on-site. Johannes von Trapp, the youngest son of Maria and the Baron, dreamed of brewing beer reminiscent of the lager beers in Austria. See what makes these beers special, and afterwards, enjoy a Bavarian style dinner. (B,D)

Wed, July 29: After breakfast, travel south to the quaint town of Woodstock, considered one of the prettiest small towns in America. Spend time at Billings Farm & Museum, and see their operating Jersey dairy farm, sample Billings Farm cheddar, and visit with the flocks of sheep. Enjoy free time for shopping and lunch on your own in Woodstock. Stroll through the pedestrian village, appreciate the craftsmanship, and see the Middle Covered Bridge. Travel a short distance to the town of Quechee, making a stop to view the Quechee Gorge. Located in Quechee is the famed Simon Pearce flagship store. Known for their exceptional glass making design and skill, the glass-maker has been operating in this location since 1981 with the site powered by hydroelectricity from the Ottauquechee River. Visit the showroom, shop the quality glassware, or watch the glass blowers in the demonstration facility. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm. (B,D)
