Experience the holiday magic of the lavishly decorated Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina, and the Gaylord Opryland in the country music capital, Nashville, Tennessee. This trip is filled with twinkling lights, holiday shows, and acres of stunning decorations.

The Biltmore Estate is a 250-room French Renaissance chateau, built between 1889 and 1895 by George Washington Vanderbilt II, and is America’s largest private home. Designed to be a “little mountain escape,” the house was even bigger and grander than his older siblings’ homes in Newport, Rhode Island and Hyde Park, New York. Spend two nights at the Inn right on the estate grounds, and have ample time to explore the house with an audio tour and during the beautiful Candlelight Christmas Evening.

Opryland is nine acres of indoor gardens, cascading waterfalls, shopping, entertainment, dining, and an indoor river with a Delta flatboat. At Christmastime more than two million lights, horse-drawn carriages, decorations, and exclusive events and attractions offer distinctive holiday entertainment. In addition to holiday delights at the hotel and a holiday themed lunch cruise, take a city tour of Nashville, enjoy a holiday show at the Grand Ole Opry House, and see A Country Christmas Dinner & Show featuring The Oak Ridge Boys.
