Per The Broadway League, proof of a full COVID19 vaccine and a mask are required to enter Broadway theatres through October 31, 2021. Being fully vaccinated means you are 2 weeks from your second dose of a 2 shot vaccine and 14 days from your dose of a 1 shot vaccine.  The mask can be removed when eating or drinking in designated areas. This policy will be reviewed in September for updates beyond that date the end of October.

Tue, Oct 19: Fly to New York City, New York and begin your adventure by visiting the “World’s Most Famous Building”. Enjoy breathtaking, panoramic views from the Empire State Building’s observatory and dive deeper into what makes this iconic structure a can’t-miss experience through the enlightening exhibits. Have lunch on your own before heading to Times Square to check into the newly renovated New York Marriott Marquis Times Square in the heart of the theatre district, your home for the next four nights. Rejoin the group for a Welcome Dinner, before seeing the new musical that is taking Broadway musical lovers captive; SIX. From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, the six wives of Henry VIII take the mic to remix five hundred years of historical heartbreak into an exuberant celebration of 21st Century girl power! Wed, Oct 20: Enjoy a full free day to take in a matinee, do some shopping or independent sightseeing. New York has been lying in wait for visitors to return. Shows and attractions are all re-opening and you’ll have easy access from your centrally located hotel. (B)

Thu, Oct 21: Today, join the group to set out for Lower Manhattan and travel back to the year 2001 as you visit the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. Walk through the collection of material evidence, first-person testimony, and historical records of the response to September 11, 2001 (and February 26, 1993) and the ongoing repercussions of these terrorist events. Choose from many lunch options at a nearby market and food hall before taking in another unique attraction—The Skyscraper Museum. This museum’s goal is to celebrate the City’s rich architectural heritage while also examining the historical forces and individuals that have shaped its successive skylines. This evening, take a journey from the humble beginnings to the global success of the undisputed Queen of Rock’n’Roll at TINA – The Tina Turner Musical. Her story reveals the untold story of a woman who dared to defy the bounds of her age, gender and race. Tina didn’t just break the rules, she wrote them! Her live shows have been seen by millions and with more concert tickets sold than any other solo performer in musical history, she is one of the world’s best-selling artists of all time! Sat, Oct 23: On your final morning on the East Coast take time to explore The Museum of Arts and Design. Dedicated to contemporary art, crafts, and design from all over the world, there is also an ever-changing selection of exhibits to see. Be sure to take some time to visit the gift shop for handmade jewelry, design books, and publications about a wide variety of subjects. Enjoy an included lunch with the group at a popular New York restaurant. Finally, visit the New York Historical Society. With special exhibitions such as The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a Gallery of Tiffany Lamps, and a detailed re-creation of the White House Oval Office, there are over 1.6 million works of art, and displays of nearly 40,000 objects here.
