Overview

More water tumbles down from the Niagara River every minute than any other place in the world. The speed at which the river falls creates a misty fog and an unmistakable roar heard from miles away. Known for both power and beauty, Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls; Horseshoe Falls (also known as the Canadian Falls), American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls. The Horseshoe Falls are the widest and highest of the three, measuring 2,200 feet across with an average drop of 188 feet and a colossal 600,000 gallons of water crashing down per second.

Head to Niagara Falls, New York to experience the thunder of these world-renown cascades. Experience the falls by boat, scenic overlooks, and via a misty walk behind the falls! Sip and savor a lunch and wine tasting along the Niagara Wine Trail, and delve into the history of the area at Old Fort Niagara and the Erie Canal!

Top off the tour with an overnight in Ohio’s Amish Country to see a show, and marvel at the skill of the handmade crafts, quilts, leather goods, and homemade food. Before returning home, visit the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, a world-class horticulture, art, and nature center near Columbus, Ohio.
