Thu, Apr 28: This morning, take a short walk from the hotel to a nearby studio to meet at performer from one of your musicals and learn all about life on The Great White Way. Then set out for Lower Manhattan and travel back in time to take a look into the lives of some of New York City’s immigrants at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum. Visit the historic apartments with your guide and visit with costumed interpreters playing the roles of former residents. Next, have lunch on your own at nearby historic Essex Market, which has served as a meeting place for this community for over 100 years. Tonight, see the sensational Broadway revival of Meredith Willson’s classic The Music Man, starring Hugh Jackman in the role of Professor Harold Hill—a role he first performed as a teenager.
