Mon, June 30: Depart by motorcoach for an exciting adventure to our neighboring states! Before crossing the border, stop at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, the original headquarters of the legendary Auburn Automobile Company, a beautiful art deco building and National Historic Landmark featuring three levels of Indiana’s meticulously crafted and perfectly preserved classic cars and racers commemorating significant achievement dating from the 1890’s to the 1990’s. Continue across the state line, breaking for lunch on your own before checking into downtown Detroit’s restored historic Fort Shelby Hotel. Branded a Doubletree by Hilton, the Fort Shelby is only steps away from the People Mover’s station, offering easy access to popular sites for personal exploration. (Meals: Dinner)

Tue, July 1: After breakfast, depart for the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, known locally as Henry’s Attic, whose comprehensive collection is devoted to the technology of the 1900s. Get close-up with original artifacts such as the Presidential Vehicles that transported the likes of FDR, JFK, and Ronald Reagan. Witness the impeccable transformation of the 1955 Rosa Parks bus from discarded relic to one of the most popular displays of this epic museum. Enjoy ample time exploring Ford’s collection of planes, trains, automobiles, and spend some time wandering through Greenfield Village. Take an optional ride in a Model T if that is your fancy and have time for lunch on your own. Next, journey along the shores of beautiful Lake Erie to Cleveland, Ohio, the Rock and Roll Capital of the World., arriving at the historic Drury Plaza Hotel, Cleveland Downtown, a storied restoration of Cleveland’s 1931 Board of Education Building.
