Fri, Mar 27: Arrive in London and indulge in traditional British fare with a welcome lunch prior to a picturesque drive through the countryside to the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world, Windsor Castle. One of the official residences of His Majesty the King, as well as the place where their Royal Highnesses, Duke and Duchess of Sussex were married. See the Baroque State Apartments dressed in some of the finest works from the royal art collection. St. George’s Chapel offers a profound glimpse into the traditions and legacy of the British monarchy. Wander the awe-inspiring nave, admire the intricate stained-glass windows, and pay respects to the tombs of kings and queens before returning to London. Check into your home for the next three nights, the Bailey’s Hotel, a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of fashionable Kensington, London. Sat, Mar 28: This remarkable day unfolds with a more formal introduction to the city’s iconic sites, beginning with Westminster Abbey, a place of worship, celebration, ceremony, the nation’s coronation church for nearly 1000 years, the final resting place of 17 monarchs, and it is one of the most important Gothic buildings in the country. Following Westminster Abbey, enjoy lunch on your own, then a self-guided audio tour of the King’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace, the official residence of the British Monarchs. The audio tour offers a comprehensive narrative about the history, art, and architecture of Buckingham Palace for a greater understanding of the significance of the palace and the role of the royal family, while allowing you to explore at your own pace and linger longer on rooms or exhibits that interest you the most. Tue, Mar 31: Following your first overnight in beautiful Paris, start the morning at the Louvre Museum, the most famous and prized museum in France. It is the world’s most-visited art museum and home to some of the world’s most famous works of art, nearly 4,000 in total and spanning from ancient civilizations to the mid-19th century. Perhaps the most famous is da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.
