Now serving as the largest city and principal port of Turkey, the city still clings to its historic past, with many beautiful examples of Byzantine, Greek, and Ottoman architecture. The Grand Bazaar opens early Monday through Saturday and offers thousands of different goods for sale, including jewelry, spices, textiles, ceramics, souvenirs, food, and handmade products. On today’s included tour, you’ll immerse yourself in ancient history as you stroll through the atmospheric, winding streets of Rhodes Town. Learn about the Knights Hospitaller and the battles that shaped the city. See the Palace of the Grand Masters, a 14th-century fortified castle that was restored in the 1930’s.
