Sun, Sep 27: Fly to Phoenix, Arizona and transfer to Sedona, situated on the mouth of Oak Creek Canyon. Enjoy a Welcome Brunch in Scottsdale before continuing to Montezuma Castle National Monument, one of the best-preserved cliff dwellings in North America. A 900-year-old legacy of the ancient Sinagua culture, this 20-room high-rise apartment set into a towering limestone cliff tells the story of ingenuity, survival, and ultimately prosperity in an unforgiving desert landscape. (Meals: Brunch)

Mon, Sep 28: After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a guided trolley tour, which will give a great introduction to the beauty, culture, and sights of Sedona, with a stop to visit the inspirational Chapel of the Holy Cross with spectacular views. Then wander through the famed Tlaquepaque Arts Village, a charming, Spanish Colonial–style shopping district filled art galleries, and unique boutiques, followed by the First People’s Exhibit. This evening, experience Sedona’s breathtaking night sky like never before with a guided dark sky adventure—where expert astronomers bring distant planets, galaxies, and constellations vividly to life. Far from city lights, you’ll enjoy crystal-clear views through professional telescopes while discovering the stories and science behind the stars in an unforgettable desert setting. (B,D)

Tue, Sep 29: An exciting adventure awaits this morning on a scenic Pink Jeep tour in Red Rock State Park. This two-hour all-pavement, smooth ride excursion will take you to the most iconic viewpoints, with stops at Lover’s Knoll and the banks of beautiful Oak Creek for a short walk. See the Painted Desert and Navajo Nations, shop for souvenirs as Cameron Trading Post, have lunch at Glen Canyon Dam viewpoint, and enjoy a scenic drive along beautiful Oak Creek Canyon. $225 per person

Wed, Sep 30: This afternoon, take an excursion on the Verde Canyon Railroad. Step aboard the fully restored vintage train, complete with luxurious coaches and shaded open-air viewing cars. Your train passage includes champagne upon departure, living room-style seating with panoramic windows, and complimentary appetizers. The ride from Clarkdale to the turn-around point of Perkinsville reveals incomparable scenery, high-desert flora and fauna, historic trestles, unusual rock formations, and passage through a century-old 680-foot tunnel. Throughout the journey the captivating history of the Verde Canyon and the railroad unfolds with narration interlaced with railroad tunes. Cap off the day with a chuckwagon supper and Western show at the Blazin’ M Ranch, an authentically replicated Western town complete with a saloon, shops, shooting gallery, and ropin’ lessons.
