If time permits, see the Marine Corps War Memorial before checking in to your hotel for four nights. Take a Battlefield Tour of the historic landscape that looks very much like it did in 1863. Tue, Mar 23: Check out of the hotel and head to Indianapolis. Stop in western Pennsylvania at the Flight 93 National Memorial, which serves as a permanent memorial to the 40 heroes on United Flight 93 who courageously gave their lives thwarting a planned attack on the nation’s capital on September 11, 2001.
