Wed, Feb 17: Fly to Honolulu, Oahu. Discover the spirit of aloha as you get acquainted with Honolulu’s highlights, passing by the State Capitol, China Town, Iolani Palace, and more as you make your way to the hotel and spend three nights near Waikiki Beach.

Thu, Feb 18: Enjoy a full day in Honolulu at your leisure, with plenty of time to discover the island at your own pace. Stroll along the world-famous Waikiki Beach, browse local shops and markets, visit historic landmarks such as The Bishop Museum or the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, or simply relax and soak up the tropical sunshine. (Meals: Breakfast)

Fri, Feb 19: Following breakfast, you’ll leave Honolulu behind as you travel to the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, on the northeast coast of Oahu. This included must-see attraction presents a wealth of South Pacific Island culture. It includes re-creations of traditional villages from Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, Fiji, the Marquesas, New Zealand, and Tonga, as well as a display of the giant stone moai (statues) of Easter Island. Most of the staff are natives of the islands they showcase. Spend the day in the villages, discovering the history and traditions of the various islands. Enjoy live demonstrations and shop at the Polynesian art and handicrafts marketplace. This evening, experience a traditional Luau as Polynesian performers welcome you to the islands! Sat, Feb 20: Board Norwegian Cruise Line’s Pride of America in Honolulu and slip into a relaxed frame of mind, knowing you won’t have to unpack to island-hop for the rest of the trip. (B,L,D)

Sun, Feb 21: Today arrive in Kona, Hawaiʻi—the gateway to the sunny western coast of the “Big Island”. Take a drive through rolling green pastures, visit sacred sites, or snorkel in a protected marine preserve—the choice is yours! Kona is also home to several coffee plantations, Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park, and Kealakekua Bay, where Captain James Cook first set foot on the island in 1778. (B,L,D)

Mon, Feb 22: On the opposite side of the Big Island, visit Hilo, Hawaiʻi where the popular stop is Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park, a surreal landscape of lava tubes, fire pits, and an active volcano! On this included excursion you’ll have the chance to visit Wailuku State Park and view the majestic waterfall that cascades 80 feet over a lava cave. Next, you’ll visit the home of Kilauea, one of the world’s most active volcanoes. You’ll feel the heat and witness volcanic steam seeping from fissures along the caldera. Tue, Feb 23: Considered the most magical and romantic of the islands, Maui is full of lush mountains and rainforests that complement its tropical beaches. Today brings a most extraordinary experience, witnessing North Pacific humpback whales gliding through Pacific waters. On this included whale watching excursion, you’ll enjoy stunning island views and panoramic ocean vistas. Be captivated by the acrobatics of the whales, listen to their sonorous songs, and learn about their importance in Hawaiian culture. (B,L,D)

Wed, Feb 24: Spend another day exploring the magical charms of Maui. From the port of Kahului, choose an optional excursion to view the island’s diverse beauty on a helicopter ride, spying hidden waterfalls within the vast jungle. Rise before dawn for the ritual sunrise journey to the top of Mount Haleakala or sleep in and spend the day on the beach, kayaking, fishing, snorkeling, or hiking. (B,L,D)

Thu, Feb 25: The tropical paradise of Kauai awaits! Step off the ship in Nawiliwili, Kauai, your launching pad for today’s adventure. Don’t miss Waimea Canyon—a sight you must see to believe. Steeped in natural beauty, “the Grand Canyon of the Pacific” does not disappoint. With its dramatic landscape crafted by erosion and earthquakes over thousands of years, you’ll experience one of the best views on the island. Another site to see is the famous Spouting Horn. A natural blowhole which creates a geyser-like spray up to 50 feet into the air. For a picturesque view of the lush tropical valley below, visit the Hanapepe Valley Lookout. Fri, Feb 26: Enjoy a second day to discover more of this lush tropical island—a treasure trove of natural beauty and adventure awaits! Whatever you decide to do, Kauai’s beauty never disappoints. Sat, Feb 27: Disembark in Honolulu after breakfast and visit the Pearl Harbor National Monument. It honors not only those who lost their lives on that “Day of Infamy” in 1941, but also the bravery and courage of the sailors, marines, and citizens of Honolulu. Next, you’ll journey north to Haleiwa town. Spend free time browsing the quaint shops or viewing the iconic Rainbow Bridge. Have lunch on your own in town at one of the amazing food trucks or local restaurants before heading to the airport for your evening flights home. (B)
